2019 Election: Schools Adjust Second Term Calendar

In preparation for the 2019 elections, the second term academic calendar has been adjusted as follows.

Edugist reliably gathered from the school heads and teachers contacted that schools will have 2 “half term breaks” to cover both the presidential and gubernatorial elections.

First break from February 13th – February 18th. Classes resume on Tuesday, February 19th. Boarders return on the evening of February 18th.

Second “half-term break” from February 28th – March 4th. Classes resume on Tuesday, March 5th. Boarders return on the evening of February 4th.

World Book Day to be observed on Thursday, March 7th.
