ABUAD: Three Nigerians Receive Honorary Doctorate Degree

In honour of their meritorious services to the nation and humanity, Afe Babalola University, Ado Ekiti will on Monday 21 October 2019 confer honorary Doctorate Degree (Honoris Causa) on the Chairman of Green Energy International Ltd, Prof Anthony Adegbulugbe, alongside the Sultan Of Sokoto, Alhaji Abubakar Saad and the Obi of Onitsha, Igwe Nnaemeka Achebe Agbogidi.

Disclosing the decision of the university in Ado Ekiti on Sunday 13th October 2019, the Founder and Chancellor of the University, Aare Afe Babalola SAN, stated that the recipients would be honoured for their outstanding contributions to the nation and humanity.

He also noted that Adegbulugbe, one of the recipients, was one of the experts recognised for their contribution to the UN Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) which won the 2007 Nobel Prize with US Vice President Al Gore.
