Federal Polytechnic, Nasarawa State Gets New Rector

The Federal Government has approved of the appointment of Abdullahi Alhassan as the Rector of the Federal Polytechnic Nasarawa, Nasarawa State.

A statement from the Office of the Minister of Education, Adamu Adamu, made available to newsmen in Abuja on Tuesday, said the appointment was with effect from the 31st December, 2018 and for an initial period of four (4) years, NAN reports.

Abdullahi Ahmed takes over from Prof. Shatima Saidu, who has served his four year tenure.
Ahmed, who was born on the 3rd of March, 1966, holds a National Diploma (ND) in Estate Management, a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Estate Management, Post Graduate Diploma in Land Administration.
He also hold a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Land Resources Administration, Master of Philosophy (MPhil) in Geography (Environmental Resource Management) and a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD), Environmental Science.
