Coventry University UK Masters

This is an intensive graduate programmes scheduled to start next year January 2016.  Prospective students will study two weekends per module and each module lasts six weeks. Lectures take place on the campus of the LNC partner GTUC (Ghana Technology University College) in Accra and students will travel on the 1st and 4th weekends of the module. There are 8 modules in total and the modules for each of the programmes and the list of programmes can be provided upon request.

The programme is delivered in Ghana but the training methodology and course content is provided by Coventry University, UK. Coventry University is the awarding institution and the tuition for the programme is nearly half of what one would have to pay if you had to travel to the UK and the payment is flexible. This programme is quite unique as employees do not need to stop working while undertaking the programme; they also do not need to face rigorous visa hassles and there is no need to consider exorbitant travel and living expenses. Candidates also have the option of either going to Ghana or the UK for their graduation.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS:

  • A First Degree or equivalent, in a Science, Engineering or Management-based subject, with 2nd class Lower and above
  • HND with at least six (6) years of relevant work experience  or
  • A professional certificate (like ACCA) with work experience (with the certificate) of 3-4years.

PROGRAMME OPTIONS:

January, May or September Intake – Classes run two weekends per module in Ghana

(As the lectures are in Ghana, the university will cover the costs of the flight and accommodation, which are not part of the fees)

There is an elongated option for the programmes, which run for two years, and payment is made per module.

FEES: 

(A) Tuition fee is £7,000

(B) The fee per module is £950 for those who choose the elongated option.

(C) Flexible Payment Option  – 40% Paid on receipt of admissions letter before start of programme- 40% at the start of the 5th month and 20% Paid at the start of the 8th Month.

INTERVIEWS

Only a select number of students will need to come for an interview depending on their results, experiences and qualifications; so endeavour to submit your  application forms in good time.

INDUCTION & STUDY SKILLS:

Writing and study skills will be held in Lagos the weekend before the course starts.  This Study Skill is compulsory, as failure to participate fully in the study skills programme will result in the withdrawal of offer of admission to you.

TRANSCRIPTS

Because it takes time to process transcripts, applicants are advised to commence its processing as soon as possible.
