The Lagos State Government has released the timelines for admission into its 16 Model Colleges and Upgraded Junior Secondary schools, just as the sale of forms for the Screening of Primary Six pupils into the Schools is scheduled to commence from Monday 14th January 2019 till Friday 26th April 2019.

According to the Director, Lagos State Examinations Board, Mr. Olufemi Hassan the screening test for this year’s academic session will be in two parts – the Computer Based Test (CBT) and Paper Pencil Test (PPT).

While noting that the registration form will cost N10,000 (Ten Thousand Naira), Hassan pointed out that late registration will commence on Wednesday 29th April and end on Friday, 24th May 2019 at a cost of N15,000 (Fifteen Thousand Naira) each.

He, however, warned parents to be wary of fraudsters, stressing that interested parents and schools should obtain a Payment Invoice from the Accounts Department of the Lagos State Examinations Board for making deposits into the account of the State Government at designated banks and obtaining the PIN/CD which will be issued to candidates.

The Director also maintained that only public and private schools’ Primary six pupils who are aged between 10 and 11 years old by June 2019 are eligible to participate in the screening test.

Hassan also noted that candidates for the Computer Based Examination are advised to indicate their choice location at any of the divisions in order to facilitate the collection of examination date within five days.

The CBT will hold at the ICT Center, Lagos State Examinations Board from Monday 3rd to Friday 7th June 2019, while the paper-pencil version is slated for Saturday, 8th June 2019 at 45 designated Centres across the State.
