Meet Johnpaul Nwaezeigwe, the Academic Star Making Nigeria Proud in Canada

Nigeria’s social media is buzzing again with the name of the latest academic whiz kid, Johnpaul Nwaezeigwe on the lips of everyone. Nwaezeigwe graduated as the best overall student at St. Mary’s University, Halifax in Canada.
He bagged two majors (Political Science and Economics) with a First Class. He was also given the honour of addressing his fellow graduates at their convocation.

The young man who graduated from the popular Loyola Jesuit College in Abuja in 2012, is a die-hard football fan and supports Arsenal.

Nwaezeigwe’s academic exploits is coming just a day after a Nigerian lady identified as Dr Adebola Olubamiji became the first black person to receive a PHD in Biomedical Engineering, from the University of Saskatchewan in Canada.
Johnpaul was the Spiritual prefect of Loyola Jesuit College in the 2010/2011 academic session and won several scholarships at St Mary university.
