The Annual Conference is APEN’s flagship event. It holds every year and is attended by over 500 delegates from around the world. Training and teacher development are key priorities at the annual conferences. This year is no exception, as they hope to encourage educators to raise the bar of teaching and learning to the desired level of professionalism, inclusion and students’ attainment.
This year conference is on the theme: INSPIRE, DEVELOP CONNECT: REINVENTING THE LEARNING SPACE.
The conference is: 3 days, 5 speakers, 6 tracks and over 25 workshops. Be prepared to develop yourself and establish connections. Examine the pathways that brought you to where you are today. Explore what possibilities you see for the future. Re-imagine how innovative our learning spaces can be.
You can register to attend the event here.
THE ASSOCIATION OF PRIVATE EDUCATORS IN NIGERIA (APEN), a Nigeria based, not-for-profit organisation, was founded in 2002. It represents the interests of private schools in Nigeria. APEN has a membership of schools which range in size from 20 to 2000 students. All their member schools have an international focus. APEN is run by a Board of Trustees, from schools around Nigeria, who are owners of their respective schools. The Board includes experts in education who have the sole motivation to unite schools under the APEN umbrella. Together, they seek to improve the educational system in our nation.
This is the next big event in Education. You can’t afford not to be there.
