As Christmas to the West, the Spring Festival, or Lunar New Year is the most important festival in China. Of all the traditional Chinese festivals, the Lunar New Year is perhaps the most elaborate, colourful, and important to Chinese people. In Lunar New Year Eve, Chinese people get together to have a family reunion in happy and auspicious atmosphere. It was wonderful to hold the gala in Lagos (UNILAG) like a family reunion to celebrate the Lunar New at such a special time.
