Unilag Students to Represent Africa at the Daring Debates Global Final

Two students of the University of Lagos (Unilag), Nigeria, Gloria Oziohu Alonge and Jemima Ojo after emerging winners of $1,000 cash prize for the maiden edition of the Daring Debates Africa will represent Africa at the global finals.

Edugist recently organised the maiden edition of the Daring Debates Africa finals which resulted into the duo emerging as winners.

The duo from unilag competed at the continent level alongside representatives from 12 universities across Africa via a virtual platform(zoom) on September 27, 2020 and emerged winners.

The global finals will take place today, November 16, 2020 at 2.30pm GMT and interested individuals can register to watch the session here

Theme: Is global sustainability profitable for business?

As the team Unilag represent the continent at the global finals, African is excited and highly hopeful that they’ll bring home the prize.
