Sixty-two out of 3,741 students of the Federal University of Technology (FUT) Minna, will bag first class degrees at its 27th Convocation scheduled for February.
The university’s Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Abdullahi Bala, announced this at a news conference in Minna on Thursday, saying the ceremony would coincide with the 35th Founder’s Day of the institution.
Bala said 3,096 of the figure would receive the first degree in their fields of studies, while 426 would bag the Masters Degrees.
According to him, 46 others will be given doctorate degrees while 173 will have the post-graduate diplomas.
Bala said that the graduating students came from the School of Agriculture and Agricultural Technology, Environment Technology, Engineering Technology, Entrepreneurship and Management Technology.
Others were Information and Communications Technology, Life Sciences, Physical Sciences, Science and Technology Education and two affiliate institutions, Federal College of Education Technical Akoka and Kaduna Polytechnic.
