Chief Tunde Fanimokun, a revered figure in the Lagos State Civil Service, is set to deliver the Lagos State University’s 2025 Distinguished Personality Lecture.
Renowned as a “Super Permanent Secretary” and celebrated for his administrative prowess, Fanimokun will bring his wealth of experience to the lecture titled *“The Practicability of Incorruptible Democratic Dispensation, Bridging Good Leadership: A Case Study of Alhaji Lateef Jakande’s Leadership in Lagos State (1979–1983)”*.
The event is scheduled for Tuesday, January 21, 2025, at the Aderemi Makanjuola Lecture Theatre, LASU main campus, Ojo, Lagos. Professor Gbolahan Elias, SAN, Chancellor of Lagos State University, will preside as Chairman of the occasion. The university’s Vice Chancellor, Professor Ibiyemi Ibilola Olátúnjí-Bello, mni, NPOM, recognized as a leading academic figure, will serve as the Chief Host.
In a statement signed by Thomas-Onashile Oluwayemisi, Coordinator of the Centre for Information and Public Relations (CIPR), all attendees are expected to be seated by 9:30 a.m. The lecture promises to be a significant event, shedding light on the enduring values of integrity and effective leadership as exemplified by Alhaji Lateef Jakande during his tenure.
