AAU refutes speculations of tuition fees increase

Ambrose Alli University (AAU) Ekpoma has dismissed rumours suggesting that the institution has raised tuition fees. The acting Registrar, Ambrose E. Odiase, addressed these rumors in an official statement on Thursday, May 25, 2023.

Characterising the information as erroneous and misleading, the acting registrar clarified that the tuition fees for returning students remain unaltered for the 2022/2023 academic session. He emphasised, “In light of recent dissemination of inaccurate figures by malicious individuals through various media platforms, the management of Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma finds it necessary to provide accurate information regarding the matter of tuition fees.”

To dispel any doubts and inform the public, the acting registrar affirmed, “For complete clarity and to the knowledge of all, there has been no increase in tuition fees for returning students at Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma for the 2022/2023 academic session. The tuition fees remain unchanged from those of the preceding 2021/2022 session.”

Additionally, he advised prospective students to visit the university’s official website to access the relevant fee details, enabling them to make informed decisions about their enrollment at the institution.

Furthermore, he stated, “It is crucial to emphasize that a candidate seeking admission into the university does not become a student until they have undergone matriculation. Potential students should be aware that the offer of admission will expire two weeks after the publication of the admission list, and enrollment for matriculation will be determined by the payment of the acceptance fee. The university will not exceed its quota for admissions.”

The administration hopes that the aforementioned information is comprehended thoroughly and urges anyone seeking further clarification on the matter of fees charged at Ambrose Alli University to consult the university’s website at the provided address.

In conclusion, the acting registrar firmly asserts the institution’s position, ensuring transparency and dispelling any misinformation regarding tuition fees at Ambrose Alli University.
