Achievers VC Charges Graduates of Engineering to Contribute to Development

The Vice-Chancellor of Achievers University, Owo, Ondo State, Prof. Samuel Aje, have charged fresh graduates of engineering to contribute to the country’s development.

The VC charged the graduates during their induction by the Nigerian Society of Engineers at main auditorium of the university.

He maintained that the inductees had been groomed, molded and perfectly prepared and released to the NSE and the world at large for them to practice and exercise their professional expertise.

He said, “We are fully convinced that they are ready to show their worth in society and be proud professionals of their various fields in engineering.”

He also urged them to use their practical knowledge to contribute to the development of the country and effect positive changes in society.

Speaking during the induction ceremony, the Dean of the College of Engineering and Technology of the institution, Prof. Sesan Ayodeji, advised the inductees to continue to develop a broad understanding of their responsibilities in the engineering field and participate in the nation’s socio-economic activities.
