The Akwa Ibom State Government has approved the appointment of Dr. Akanimo Edet Jonah, MCSN, MNIM, as the Deputy Rector of Akwa Ibom State Polytechnic, Ikot Osurua.
This was announced in a circular signed by the Acting Registrar, Godswill E. Udofah, informing all staff, students, and the Polytechnic community of the new appointment.
Before his elevation, Dr. Jonah served as the Director of the Students Industrial Work Experience Scheme (SIWES) and was the immediate past Dean of the Entrepreneurial Centre of the institution.
The circular urged members of the Polytechnic community to take note of the appointment and extend full cooperation to the new Deputy Rector in the discharge of his duties.
The statement concluded with a call for the circular to be given the widest publicity it deserves.
