The Renaissance African Energy Company, operator of the NNPC/Renaissance/TotalEnergies/AENR Joint Venture (Renaissance JV), has announced the commencement of its 2025 university scholarship programme. This initiative aims to promote academic excellence and empower young Nigerians through financial support. Successful applicants will receive annual grants throughout the duration of their undergraduate studies.
Benefits:
The scholarship is offered under two merit-based categories: the National Merit Award, which is open to all qualified Nigerian students across the country, and the Areas of Operation Merit Award, which is specifically for indigenes of Renaissance JV’s host communities in Bayelsa, Delta, Imo, and Rivers States. All applicants must be Nigerian citizens currently enrolled full-time in accredited universities within the country and must not be benefiting from any other scholarship in the oil and gas sector.
Eligibility:
To be eligible, candidates must be in their second year (200 level)of undergraduate study in the 2023/2024 academic session and provide proof of admission. Students admitted through direct entry must also include relevant A-Level results and a transcript of their 100-level academic performance. Applications are free and must be submitted exclusively via the Renaissance scholarship portal.
Application process:
All applicants are expected to upload the following documents: JAMB/UTME score, university admission letter, O’Level result, a recent passport-sized photograph (taken within the last four months), and a letter of identification from their state showing their local government of origin. Direct entry students must additionally submit a 100-level transcript and A-Level results. Interested candidates should apply via this official portal.
