The Development Bank of Nigeria (DBN) has officially opened applications for its 2025 Entrepreneurship Training Programme (DBNETP), an initiative designed to empower Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) with the necessary skills to grow sustainable businesses and access funding.

The training programme targets Nigerian business owners across all sectors who are eager to strengthen their knowledge in business operations, access to credit, efficient fund utilization, and market access.

Benefits:
Participants will benefit from expert-led training sessions, business development strategies, and the opportunity to pitch for grant funding ranging between ₦500,000 and ₦1,000,000. The programme also aims to help MSMEs defend viable business proposals and improve bankability.

Applicants must complete these and achieve at least 80% in quizzes to qualify for the next phase and at the end of the programme, participants will pitch their business value propositions, and selected businesses will be awarded grant funding based on innovation, feasibility, and growth potential.

Eligibility:
Aapplicants must be at least 18 years old, legally reside in Nigeria, own a for-profit business based in the country, and be available to attend the training if selected. Selection will be based on the business’s bankability, sustainability, and scalability.
