APPLY: Julius Berger Scholarship 2024 for Nigerian students

Julius Berger Nigeria has announced the 2024 Julius Berger Scholarship Award, aimed at supporting educational excellence and fostering diversity within Nigeria’s engineering and construction sectors.

This scholarship is exclusively available to outstanding female undergraduates enrolled in public universities across Nigeria.

The Julius Berger Scholarship offers comprehensive financial support to selected recipients, covering full tuition fees and related educational expenses throughout their undergraduate studies. This merit-based scholarship is renewable annually, provided the recipients maintain a high standard of academic performance and ethical conduct as stipulated in the scholarship award letter. The scholarship allows students to concentrate fully on their studies without the financial burden of tuition fees.

Eligibility:
To be eligible for the 2024 Julius Berger Scholarship, applicants must meet specific criteria. The scholarship is open to Nigerian female students who are currently enrolled in a federal or state-owned university accredited by the National Universities Commission (NUC). Applicants must be in their second year of full-time study within the Faculty of Engineering, Environmental Sciences, or Technology, and must have a minimum CGPA of 3.5 on a 5-point scale. Eligible fields of study include various engineering disciplines such as Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, and Chemical Engineering, as well as related areas like Construction Project Management and Quantity Surveying.

Application process:
Interested candidates must apply online by following a detailed application process. First, applicants need to register on the scholarship application portal by clicking the “Apply Now” button and creating an account. After activating their account via email, applicants should log in and provide personal details, including their National Identification Number (NIN) if available, as well as educational information. All required documents must be uploaded, and a passport photograph with a white background should be included. Before final submission, applicants must review their entries for accuracy, download their application profile, and have it signed by their Head of Department. The signed profile must then be uploaded for verification.
