APPLY: NCIC opens internship program for young Nigerians

The Nigeria Climate Innovation Center (NCIC) has announced the opening of applications for its 2024 Internship Program. The initiative aims to offer young Nigerians an opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience in various roles within a vibrant, impact-driven organization.

This one-year internship program will enable participants to work closely with industry professionals and contribute to key projects that support NCIC’s mission of driving green innovation in Nigeria.

Benefits:
Interns in the NCIC program will receive competitive monthly stipends to support them throughout the year. MBeyond financial support, participants will have access to networking opportunities with industry leaders and professionals in Nigeria’s green economy. High-performing interns may also be considered for full-time employment at the conclusion of the program, depending on available positions and their individual performance.

Available Internship Positions:
The NCIC Internship Program offers positions in four key areas: Digital Marketing & Brand Communication, Project Management, Report Writing, and Accounting. These roles are designed to provide practical experience and expose interns to real-world tasks within their chosen field. Interns will contribute to both administrative duties and specific projects, offering a well-rounded experience that equips them for future career opportunities.

Eligibility:
To be considered for the internship, applicants must hold at least an HND or B.Sc. in a relevant field. Additionally, candidates should possess strong familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Applicants must also have access to a working laptop and a reliable internet connection to facilitate their work throughout the program.
