APPLY: UNESCO-IEEE 2024 Entrepreneurship Bootcamp for Early-Career Engineers in Africa

The UNESCO-IEEE Entrepreneurship Bootcamp, has announced a five-day intensive program designed to equip early-career engineers in Africa with essential entrepreneurial skills.

The bootcamp, scheduled from September 9 to 13, 2024, will take place in Luanda, Angola. This initiative is a joint effort by UNESCO and IEEE Entrepreneurship, contributing to the International Decade of Sciences for Sustainable Development 2024-2033 and the 10th Africa Engineering Week.

Eligibility:
To be eligible for the bootcamp, applicants must meet the following criteria: be under 35 years of age by December 31, 2024, be an early-career engineer (including students registered in engineering programs and practicing engineers), be a national and resident of an African country, and be available for all days of the bootcamp, including two pre-bootcamp online engagements. This program aims to attract motivated individuals eager to enhance their entrepreneurial skills and contribute to sustainable development through engineering innovations.

The bootcamp offers comprehensive support to participants, covering all essential needs during the program. This includes accommodation in double rooms on a shared basis for those residing outside Luanda, all meals, and air tickets for qualifying participants traveling from outside Angola. This support ensures that participants can fully focus on gaining valuable knowledge and skills without financial or logistical concerns.
