Following the recent attacks by Boko Haram members in the state, the Gombe state government has ordered the closure of all public and private schools in the state. Parents who took their children to school this morning were asked to take them back home following the directive by the state govt which was sent out to all school heads in a circular yesterday evening.
The Permanent Secretary, Gombe state Government House, Sani Jauro confirmed the closure to NAN but said it was just a “normal mid-term break for students”.
