Breaking: Lagos Tertiary Institutions Resume September 14 — Sanwo-Olu

Lagos State Governor, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu has announced that all the tertiary institutions in the state would resume academic activities on September 14, 2020.

While disclosing this on Saturday August 29, 2020, Sanwo-Olu said after months of total closure, schools in Lagos are set to re-open in September.

Primary and secondary schools are also tentatively scheduled to re-open from September 21.

“This decision is not cast in stone and is subject to review of our ongoing modelling and what procedure comes out from the Ministry of Health,” Sanwo-Olu said.
