Breaking News: School Bus Driver Dies on Duty

Early hours of Tuesday (today) 21st January 2019, a bus driver of a school situated at Ojokoro area in Ikorodu, Lagos died in the school bus.

Edugist correspondent gathered that driver, who was listening to music, in the bus, was waiting to pick one of the school pupils at the spot.


Drama began when the parent of the pupil, who initially thought the driver was asleep, raised alarm that he refused to wake up.

“He used to come here every morning to pick pupils of his school. When I got here this morning, I thought he was deeply asleep. I was shocked when I discovered that he was dead,” the parent said.

The circumstances around his death could not be ascertained as of the time of writing this report.
