The management of Osun State Polytechnic, Iree, has extended the resumption date earlier fixed for Monday, 14th March 2023 to Monday, 20th March 2023 in line with the gubernatorial and state house of assembly elections.
This was made known via a statement made available to Edugist by the Osun state correspondent, Micheal Obisesan.
The statement which was signed by the Registrar of the Institution, Busari Salawu has cleared the air regarding the rumours of resumption. According to the statement, the extension of the holiday is concerning the postponement of the gubernatorial and state house of assembly election that was postponed by the Independent national electoral commission.

Extension of Date of Resumption for Academic Activities
Further to the postponement of the Gubernatorial and State Houses of Assembly elections by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), all staff and students are hereby informed that the resumption of full academic activities in the Polytechnic has been shifted from Tuesday, 14th March to Monday, 20th March 2023.
