COVID-19: UNILAG Back to Virtual Classes to Complete 2019/2020 Session, Opens Portal for Add & Delete

University of Lagos Undergraduates have resumed academic activities today, 26th July, 2021, via online lectures through different virtual classroom to complete 2nd semester, 2019/2020 session.

The interruption of the semester was due to rising cases of COVID-19 in the University community. Following the announcement made by the Management of the University on 14th July, 2021 to shut down the school hostels with immediate effect, students were instructed to vacate the premises the following day.

The University would utilize its virtual learning platform LMS (Learning Management ) to complete the rest of the session. Together with LMS, synchronous media like Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, etc would be utilised depending on the discretion of individual lecturers.

An information that is yet to be made formal has it that examinations for 2nd semester, 2019/2020 session would be computer-based but done within the school premises.

In addition, the portal for editing of registered courses for the 2nd Semester, 2019/2020 academic session has been made accessible and will close on Sunday, August 1, 2021. This would include addition and deletion of courses as students deem fit.

Undergraduates have been sensitised to take advantage of the window to edit (add & delete) their registered courses accordingly as no extension would be granted.
