Seun Osamaye, a dedicated education advocate, has generously donated an ultra-modern library to the Adeyemi Federal University of Education in Ondo, Ondo State.

During the inauguration of the facility last Thursday, Osamaye highlighted the pivotal role education plays in national development, expressing her passion for continuous improvement in the educational sector.

She stated, “Developing the nation starts from the classroom,” underscoring the need for a conducive environment that fosters learning and reading habits among students.

Emphasizing the importance of quality educational resources as a fundamental right, Osamaye ensured that the ultra-modern library is equipped with cutting-edge technologies, an extensive collection of books across various fields, and seamless access to digital resources, online databases, and journals.

Former Provost of the institution, Adeyemi Idowu, urged other influential figures in Nigeria to embrace education and contribute to the academic growth of students by providing similar facilities.

The deputy vice-chancellor of the institution expressed gratitude to Osamaye, highlighting the transformative power of education that this ultramodern library represents.

Addressing the gathering, the Minister Of Education, Prof Tahir Maman, represented by the deputy vice-chancellor, Federal University Of Technology, Akure, Taiwo Amos, commended the donation, noting that the state-of-the-art facility would significantly enhance the academic performance of students.

Furthermore, Biola Oladapo, the lawmaker representing Ondo West Constituency II at the state House of Assembly, praised the library as a symbol of progress and innovation.

He emphasized its potential to shape the future of education in the institution.
