In furtherance of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu’s THEMES Plus Agenda, which prioritises the transformation of education through technology and innovation, the Tutor-General/Permanent Secretary of Education District IV, Mr. Olufemi Bamidele Paseda, has presented tablet devices to school administrators and teachers across the district.
The initiative aims to boost digital efficiency, accountability, and effective communication among school leaders while promoting data-driven management across the education system.
Speaking during the presentation ceremony held at the District Conference Room, Mr. Paseda reaffirmed the Lagos State Government’s commitment to leveraging technology for improved service delivery in schools. He explained that the provision of tablets aligns with the Education and Technology pillar of the THEMES Plus Agenda, which focuses on integrating digital tools into teaching, learning, and school administration.
“The Lagos State Government remains committed to enhancing the education sector through innovation. These devices are not just tools but instruments of transformation that will support efficient school management and foster greater collaboration between schools and the district,” Paseda stated.
He commended the beneficiaries for their hard work and urged them to use the devices responsibly to strengthen communication and ensure smooth administrative operations.
Expressing their gratitude, the recipients appreciated the Governor and the district leadership for their continued support and commitment to raising educational standards in Lagos State. They pledged to use the tablets effectively to improve school operations and contribute to the successful implementation of the THEMES Plus Agenda.
