6. The National Universities Commission (NUC) has approved about 18 programs for the institution.
7. These programs align with the federal government’s commitment to expanding STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) education and addressing critical skill gaps in the country.

9. The Federal University of Applied Sciences, Kachia, is scheduled to commence academic activities in the 2025/2026 academic session.
10. The institution aims to admit its first batch of students by September 2025, with preparations underway to ensure a smooth take-off. The federal government has included the university in the 2025 budget, covering personnel, overhead, and capital expenditures.
