Former OSPOLY Union President set to Break Guinness world record for longest marathon reading aloud

Samson Ajao, popularly known as impeccable, a former student union government president of Osun State Polytechnic, iree, Nigeria, is gearing up for an extraordinary challenge: breaking the Guinness World Record for the longest marathon reading aloud.

Ajao’s ambitious endeavours are fueled by his insatiable thirst for knowledge and his unwavering dedication to promoting the importance of reading in society.

The current record holder, Rysbai Isakov from Bursa, Turkey, captivated audiences worldwide by reading aloud for an impressive 124 hours from September 22nd to 27th, 2022. However, Ajao is setting his sights even higher, aiming to read aloud for a staggering 214 hours.

Ajao’s love for literature has been a driving force throughout his life, propelling him to leadership positions such as President of the Students Union Government at Osun State Polytechnic, Iree, for the 2020/2021 academic session, and Chairman of the Lagelu Grammar School, Ibadan Old Boys Association, representing the 2014 Set.

Quoting the famous adage, “Readers become leaders,” Ajao emphasizes the transformative power of reading in shaping one’s worldview and fostering personal and intellectual growth. He believes that by immersing oneself in the works of others, one gains access to a wealth of knowledge and perspectives, paving the way for innovation and progress.

Ajao’s passion for reading has not only enriched his own life but has also honed his writing skills, enabling him to offer exceptional writing and consulting services to individuals and organizations seeking creative solutions.

Beyond personal achievement, Ajao views his quest to break the Guinness World Record as an opportunity to inspire a love for reading and learning, particularly among the youth. He hopes to cultivate a culture of intellectual curiosity and empowerment, recognising that a well-read society is better equipped to tackle the complex challenges of our time.

Through this remarkable feat, Ajao aims to demonstrate the boundless potential of the human spirit and underscore the importance of investing in education for the advancement of society and the world at large.
