FUOYE to fumigate campuses against invasion of millipedes

The management of Federal University Oye-Ekiti (FUOYE) has released a circular to inform all members of staff and students that the University Management has commenced the fumigation of the University Campuses against the invasion of millipedes.

This was announced in a memo signed by the Registrar, Mufutau A. Ibrahim. The memo, which was released on 30th May stated in order to ensure conducive learning and working environment for all members of staff and students, the fumigation has commenced.

The memo also reads that the invasion of millipedes which are not harmful to human beings was attributed to the current raining season. This is not peculiar to our Campuses alone.

“Accordingly, while we appeal to members of staff and students to remain calm, Management wishes to assure you of its readiness to ensure conducive learning and working environment at all times.”

“This is for your information, please. Thank you,” the memo concluded.
