FUTA student begins 4-day Math-A-Thon

Samuel Emmanuel Oluwapelumi, a dedicated Industrial Mathematics student at the Federal University of Technology Akure (FUTA), has embarked on a remarkable journey to set a new record for the longest continuous mathematics tutorial.

Samuel commenced his ambitious arithmetic endeavour at precisely 8:30 AM on Wednesday, March 13, 2024, within the hallowed halls of FUTA.

The commencement of this extraordinary feat was captured in a viral video that swiftly garnered attention across various social media platforms, showcasing Samuel’s passionate delivery of mathematical concepts to his fellow students.

Armed with a fervent zeal for the subject and an indomitable spirit, Samuel has undertaken to teach day and night, with only brief interludes for respite, as he endeavors to push the boundaries of mathematical endurance.

The epic Math-A-Thon, currently underway at the esteemed T.I Francis Auditorium on the FUTA campus, is slated to span a duration of four grueling days, during which Samuel will tirelessly impart his knowledge and insights to eager learners.
