Veteran Nollywood actor Dele Odule has opened up about the inspiration behind his recent emotional Instagram posts, disclosing that he was heartbroken by a 200-level university student.
Speaking during a live session with content creator Kamo State, Odule admitted that the experience left him deeply hurt, prompting his series of cryptic and emotional messages on social media that had stirred concern among fans.
The conversation, however, took a lighter turn when someone in the background jokingly noted that the actor had not touched the food before him, adding humor to an otherwise emotional moment.
Though Odule refrained from revealing the student’s name or the university she attends, the revelation has fueled curiosity and speculation online, with some fans questioning whether the story is genuine or part of a publicity stunt.
In one of his posts, Odule wrote: “Leaving me is okay. People leave all the time. I’m used to it. What hurts is when you made me feel so special one day, and the next day, I was so unwanted.”
Another read: “After you said the meanest thing to me, you now come back to say you never meant it. You are mean, but I will crush your ego with silence. I will never allow anyone to make me feel I’m not enough.”
The actor’s revelations have since generated mixed reactions across social media, as fans continue to debate the authenticity and depth of the heartbreak.
