IPPIS: ASUU Stages Rally against Enrolment of Members

The Federal University of Technology chapter of the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) has organized a peaceful rally against the IPPIS enrolment.

The rally, which was peacefully conducted yesterday, included the ASUU Chairman, Dr. Mohammed Attaihiru Ndanisa and some members of FUT Minna ASUU.

Walking round the school with some solidarity songs, they declared that IPPIS was a scam.

The members then went to the Senate boardroom where the enrolment was taking place to meet the IPPIS officials.

They met some non-academic staff doing their enrolment and went round to confirm that none of their staff was present.

“No member of ASUU must register for the scam as there will be consequences if they are registered,” Dr. Mohammed Attaihiru Ndanisa said.

“ASUU is totally against the IPPIS enrolment. We will not take it likely with any member that dare flaunt the order not to register,” he added.

Ndanisa further told the non-academic staff that they had no problem with them enrolling for the system urging them to continue with the enrolment.
