The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced the suspension of the 2023 Direct Entry registration until further notice.
The board’s spokesman, Fabian Benjamin, disclosed this in Abuja on Tuesday February 21, 2023.
According to Benjamin, the suspension was to enable the deployment of specific measures designed to serve prospective candidates better.
He said a new date and fresh registration procedures would be announced.
The new procedure would include uploading a JAMB admission letter in the case of OND and NCE admission.
He explained that it would entail uploading letters issued by universities in the case of university diplomas and admission letters issued by ‘A’ Level examination bodies.
The registration, which began on Monday, February 20, was initially scheduled to end on Thursday, April 20.
Mr Benjamin advised candidates to note that only JAMB offices nationwide were approved to register them for Direct Entry.
