What Does JAMB Really Want to do this Year

Just this year alone, JAMB has turned out poor policies or less though-out policies, to say the least.

The big question is what does JAMB really want to do with the life of the teeming prospective students that is looking to her for admissions into Nigeria’s tertiary institutions for the 2016/2017 academic session?

Earlier this year, the body had made it compulsory, that all students must take computer based test (CBT) without any consideration to the fact that many applicants dwells in the rural areas of the country. No consideration was given to the poor state of electricity in the country, digital immigrant status of the Nigeria state, either. And other debilitating factors.

As typical of our clime, the storm was weather, against all odds. Some failed. Others passed. The later group looked forward to the next process, Post-UTME to their various schools (chosen).

But this has become the problem. Since then, JAMB has come up with different processes that has yielded nothing. From declaring post-UTME cancelled at some point, to posting candidates to schools, to withdrawing the posting process. And to been totally confused as it stands.

This is their recent update that have left thousands confused.

The big question is; what does JAMB really want to do this year and into the future, knowing the vital role she plays in the National education value chain?
