JAMB sets date to announce 2024/2025 admission cut-off marks, schedules Policy Meeting

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has scheduled a crucial Policy Meeting for Friday, July 18, 2024, to deliberate on and set the admission cut-off marks for tertiary institutions for the 2024/2025 academic year.

The meeting will be chaired by the Minister of Education, Prof. Tahir Mamman, and aims to determine the minimum cut-off marks required for admissions. The announcement was made in JAMB’s weekly bulletin released on Monday.

The Policy Meeting will be attended by important stakeholders, including:

Heads of regulatory agencies such as the National University Commission (NUC), National Board for Technical Education (NBTE), and National Council for Colleges of Education (NCCE).

Heads of tertiary institutions.

Representatives from the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC).

This annual event is critical for setting the academic standards and ensuring a uniform admission process across all tertiary institutions in Nigeria.
