Kwara State University (KWASU) has announced the appointment of Professor Taibat Moji Yusuf as the new Dean, Faculty of Agriculture, and Head of its Ilesha-Baruba Campus.
The appointment, approved by the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Shaykh-Luqman Alade Jimoh, was contained in a letter signed by the Registrar and dated October 15, 2027. It is a two-year tenure.
Professor Yusuf, from the Department of Agricultural Economics and Extension Services, joined KWASU in July 2013 and was elevated to the rank of Professor in 2022.
An alumna of the University of Ibadan, she holds a Ph.D. in Agricultural Economics. Her professional achievements include the 2014 D’LINGA Distinguished Leadership Award in National Development, and being named a Fellow of the Strategic Institute for Natural Resources and Human Development in 2015.
She is also an active member of several professional bodies, including the Agricultural Economics Society (AES), the African Association of Agricultural Economists (AAAE), and the Nigerian Association of Agricultural Economists (NAAE).
