In a bid to promote excellence and dedication in the teaching profession, the Lagos State Education District III has honoured 123 teachers for their punctuality and commitment to duty. Each awardee received a letter of appreciation and a tablet device to boost productivity and enhance classroom engagement.

Speaking at the event, the Tutor-General/Permanent Secretary of the District, TR. Osinaike Olusegun Olawale, lauded the teachers for their consistency and professionalism, noting that punctuality remains a vital attribute of effective educators. “Hard work and punctuality go hand in hand,” he said, adding that teachers should “dress the way they wish to be addressed.”

TR. Osinaike further stated that while the tokens of appreciation may be modest, the gesture reflects the state government’s recognition of teachers as key drivers of educational success.

The ceremony ended on a celebratory note as the awardees received their gifts amid applause from colleagues, reaffirming Education District III’s commitment to fostering motivation, excellence, and dignity in the teaching profession.
