The Office of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), in collaboration with TigerFireRose Media, has continued its statewide school outreach with the screening of the social impact film “Pile of Rubbish” across Lagos education districts.

The latest edition of the initiative was held at Sanya Senior Grammar School, Surulere, within Education District IV, drawing hundreds of students and teachers. Participants engaged in interactive discussions on waste management, recycling, and the role of community-driven action in maintaining a cleaner and more sustainable environment.

The programme featured strategic partners such as Givo Africa, Sweep Foundation, and other sustainability advocates, who encouraged students to take the lead in environmental stewardship within their schools and communities.

The “Story for Change” series forms part of ongoing efforts by the Office of SDGs to leverage creative storytelling and film as tools to raise awareness on climate action, responsible consumption, and sustainable urban living in Lagos State.
