LASCON Postpones Entrance Examination Date, Fixes July 10

The Lagos State College of Nursing (LASCON), Igando, has postponed the date for the entrance examination into the Department of Nursing for the year 2021 academic session from Saturday June 26 to Saturday July 10, 2021.

A statement signed by the Provost of the College, Mrs. Oyefunso Orenuga, on Monday June 7, 2021, informed that the postponement of the examination was due to the clash of the previous date with that of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) scheduled for the same time and venue.

In her words, “The Entrance Examination, which was scheduled to hold on Saturday, 26th June 2021, has been postponed to Saturday, 10th July 2021, due to the clash with JAMB. The venue of the entrance remains the CBT Centre, LASU, Ojo Campus by 9 am.”

Orenuga reiterated that the sale of forms into the Department of Nursing for the year 2021 academic session, which had commenced on Monday, 6th of May, 2021, is still ongoing until the closing date of Friday, 11th of June, 2021.

While informing that successful candidates will be invited for an oral interview at the College two weeks after the written examination, she stated that there is still an ample opportunity for interested persons to collect the forms before the closing date.
