Lagos State University (LASU) has expanded its ICT infrastructure with the launch of a cutting-edge 350-seat Computer-Based Test (CBT) Centre, further enhancing its digital examination process.

The newly inaugurated facility, located on the ground floor of the LASU Central Library at the Ojo main campus, was inspected on Monday, March 17, 2025, by Vice-Chancellor Prof. Ibiyemi Olatunji-Bello, mni, NPOM, alongside the university’s management team.

Equipped with 350 internet-enabled laptops and a dedicated server room, the centre resolves past challenges associated with using rented CBT facilities. The Vice-Chancellor, accompanied by the Director of the Directorate of Information and Communication Technology (DICT), Prof. Toyin Enikuomehin, also inspected the holding bay where students would wait before their exams.

The new centre reinforces LASU commitment to digital transformation and seamless academic assessments.
