LASU Equity Law Firm Announces Essay & PowerPoint Competition

LASU Equity Law Firm Student Chambers has announced an essay and PowerPoint competition.

Equity law firm is one of the chambers of the LASULAWS students society. The chamber helps to educate learning colleagues in advocacy skills.

The competition is in honour of the Attorney General of Lagos state; Moyosore Onigbanjo (SAN). The competition is open to all law students in a Nigerian institution.

Eligibility, Guidelines and other details for the competition are as follows:

Topic: Data Privacy and the Nigerian State; Towards an Effective Data Protection Regime

Applicants are to write a 1200 word essay on the topic (including endnotes).

They are not to write their names as they would be allocated a unique registration number.

Applicants are to contact representatives for a unique registration number to qualify for the competition

All entries must be in English language (except universal quotes).

Plagiarism will result in automatic disqualification.

Typeface: Times New Roman / Font: 12pt double spaced

Applicants must be a team of two.

Top 3 qualify for a PowerPoint presentation and stand a chance to win #100,000 for first position, #70,000 for second position, #50,000 for third position.

Deadline for submission: 15th May, 2021.
