LASUBEB chairman praises Langbasa head teacher, vows continued investment in public education

The Executive Chairman of the Lagos State Universal Basic Education Board (LASUBEB), Dr. Hakeem Babatunde Shittu, alongside the Board Secretary, Mr. Hakeem Lamidi, conducted an inspection visit to Langbasa Nursery and Primary School in Eti-Osa Local Government Education Authority (LGEA) as part of efforts to ensure effective school management and continuous monitoring of teaching and learning activities in Lagos State public primary schools.

During the visit, Dr. Shittu assessed the school infrastructure, engaged with staff and pupils, and evaluated the overall learning environment.

He praised the head teacher, Mrs. Adelaju Bilikis, for maintaining a conducive and well-organized facility, emphasizing LASUBEB’s dedication to upholding high standards in public primary education across the state.

As part of his visit, Dr. Shittu also inspected the proposed site for Langbasa Secondary School, a project initiated by the Lagos State Government in collaboration with the local community to expand access to quality secondary education in the area.

Reaffirming LASUBEB commitment to improving teaching standards, infrastructure, and learning outcomes, Dr. Shittu assured stakeholders that the Board remains focused on enhancing the quality of basic education across Lagos State public schools.
