A twenty-four-year-old Nigerian Law School student, Mbachu Anderson Chukwudera, is seeking N40 million for a kidney transplant. He was diagnosed with end-stage kidney disease and has spent a lot on tests and dialysis.

Currently, Chukwudera undergoes dialysis three times a week to manage his condition. He was initially a student at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, but his health challenges prevented him from continuing his studies at the Nigerian Law School.

According to a medical report from Zenith Medical and Kidney Centre, Abuja, Chukwudera is being diagnosed for Chronic Kidney Disease, secondary to focal segmental glomerulosclerosis (biopsy proven).

The report says he will need a kidney transplant as that will improve his quality of life and he will need to be on lifelong immunosuppressants.
Chukwudera, who said that his education and future plans were on pause, and he is reaching out for help, said: “Any contribution, big or small, would bring me closer to receiving the transplant I desperately need.

“Your generosity could be the difference between a life of ongoing treatment and a chance to thrive. I am grateful for any form of assistance and support.

“Every naira counts, and I am counting on your kindness to help me raise the funds needed for this life-saving surgery. Thank you for considering my appeal. Your support can change my life,” he pleads.

Meanwhile, the estimated cost for the transplant is N40 million. The family can be reached at telephone number 08165640510, and donations can be made to their First Bank account number: 3036231101 under the name Mbachu Martha (his mother)
