MAT 2004 Alumni donates generator to UDUS Mathematics department

The Mathematics class graduate of 2004 donated a brand new generator to the Department of Mathematics in Usmanu Danfodiyo University Sokoto (UDUS).

Information gathered by PEN PRESS maintained that the generator cost N250,000 and it is first of its kind.

The Head Of Department (HOD) of Mathematics, Dr. (Mrs) Halima Usman said that, “The alumni heard that there is a problem of light in the university that is why they decided to donate the generator to the department.”

HOD expressed sincere gratitude for the donation and said the door is now open for all sets to emulate.

While speaking with the president of the mathematics department, Abubakar Ishaq Olaitan expresses gladness over the donation and appreciates the alumni.

“On behalf of the department, we are incredibly grateful for the generous donation from our alumni. Their support means a lot to us and will greatly benefit current and future students. It’s so incredible to see the alumni giving back and investing in the growth of the department,” he said.
