NBTE set to accredit new courses -Ospoly announces

The institution announced that accreditation and resource accreditation for some programmes in various departments of the institution will be done by NBTE.

Osun state polytechnic, iree, has announced that the national board for technical education will be accrediting several programs at the institution from May 2nd to 5th May, 2023.

According to the memo which was obtained by our correspondent, the institution announced that accreditation and resource accreditation for some programmes in various departments of the institution will be done by NBTE.

Below are the concerned departments and programmes which would be accredited

Faculty of Environmental Studies

HND Architectural Technology

HND Building Technology

HND Estate Management and Evaluation

HND Quantity Surveying

HND Urban and Regional Planning

Faculty of Engineering

ND Agricultural Technology (Re-Verification)

ND Electrical/Electronics (Re-Verification)

HND Mechanical Engineering (Automative Option)

HND Mechanical Engineering (Manufacturing Option)

HND Welding and Fabrication Engineering

FACULTY of Arts and Design

ND Fashion Design Technology

HND Arts & Design (Graphics Option)

HND Arts & Design (Textile Option)

Faculty of Science

HND SLT (Biochemistry Option)

HND SLT (Environmental Biology Option)

The National Board for Technical Education, otherwise known as NBTE, is a board of education which supervises, regulates and oversees educational programmes offered by technical institutions at secondary, polytechnic and mono-technic levels through an accreditation process.
