Sine Qua Non Foundation, a non-governmental organisation committed to public service and education, has launched a bold initiative aimed at transforming learning environments across Lagos State to accommodate children with disabilities.
The foundation is calling on individuals, organisations, and philanthropists to join the movement to make education more inclusive and accessible.
Convener Emmanuel Oyedepo, in a statement, highlighted the structural and systemic gaps in the public education system that continue to exclude children with physical, sensory, and intellectual disabilities. “This project is not just about improving facilities; it’s about creating a society where every child, regardless of ability, can learn, grow, and thrive,” Oyedepo said.
The initiative seeks financial contributions, in-kind donations such as assistive devices and educational tools, and active volunteer support to bring its goals to life. Oyedepo emphasized that the success of the project depends heavily on collaboration. “We believe community collaboration is essential to make inclusive education a reality. Whether through funding, expertise, or time, everyone has a role to play in shaping a more inclusive future for our children.”
For donations and inquiries, the foundation has opened its communication lines through its website [www.sinequanonfoundation.org](http://www.sinequanonfoundation.org), phone number 07079883433, and email [contactus@sinequanonfoundation.org](mailto:contactus@sinequanonfoundation.org).
The statement reaffirmed the foundation’s dedication to ensuring that every child in Lagos receives a supportive and inclusive educational experience. “With your help, we can build a tomorrow where no child is left behind,” Oyedepo said.
Sine Qua Non Foundation had earlier demonstrated its social commitment last November when it commemorated the UN’s International Day of Care and Support for the elderly by distributing food supplies to the aged and vulnerable in Iwaya, Yaba.
