NIEPA Partners UNICEF On Education In Bauchi, 7 Other States

The National Institute for Educational Planning and Administration (NIEPA) is partnering with UNICEF to develop the education sector plans for Bauchi State and seven other states nationwide.

Edugist gathered that other piloting states include Borno, Yobe, Zamfara, Kebbi, Cross-River, Katsina and Gombe.

The drive seeks to address the unique challenges peculiar to these states and harness their education potentials.
The acting director-general of NIEPA, Dr Shofoyeke Adebiyi disclosed this in Bauchi during a five-day training organised for education managers of the eight benefiting states.

“It is my honour to announce our collaboration with UNICEF in the development of Education Sector Plans for eight states across Nigeria.

“The states have unique challenges and opportunities in the education sector and through this partnership, we aim to address them comprehensively and strategically.
