OSPOLY Alumni Association leads Seminar, donates equipment to boost student success

The recent seminar organised by the National Association of Polytechnic Accountancy Students (NAPAS) Alumni Association at Osun State Polytechnic, Iree, sheds light on the symbiotic relationship between alumni and current students. Not only did the seminar focus on project management and job hunting, but it also showcased the commitment of alumni to give back to their alma mater.

The donation of a new projector and generator to the Accountancy Department signifies the alumni’s dedication to enhancing the learning experience of current students. Beyond material contributions, the seminar served as a platform for networking and mentorship, where graduates shared insights and advice on navigating the professional landscape.

Furthermore, the announcement by the Rector, Mr Kehinde Alabi, regarding the institution’s plan to offer degree programs is a significant development. This initiative opens doors for students to pursue higher education directly through JAMB, providing them with expanded opportunities for academic and career advancement.

The Registrar, Mr Abiodun Oloyede, aptly encouraged students to seize the chance to learn from seasoned professionals in their fields, highlighting the importance of proactive engagement in shaping one’s future. The seminar exemplified the spirit of collaboration and empowerment within the academic community, setting a precedent for future endeavours aimed at fostering student success.
