OSPOLY ASUP Strike:Management orders immediate resumption of part-time staff

The Management of Osun State Polytechnic, Iree has directed all its part-time staff members, corp members, IT students as well as all chief accountants & Chief Executive Officer (accounts) in the institution’s bursary department to resume duties on Tuesday, August 8, 2023.

This was contained in separate memos released on August 7, 2023, one signed by Mrs. F. O. Apara for the Acting Registrar and the other was signed by Oluwafunto Ishola For Acting Bursar.

Similarly to that, the memo indicated that, for the avoidance of dispute, the institution opens at 8:00 am and closes at 4:00 pm every day, while it enjoined the part-time staff members to comply with the directive in their interest.

The memo reads thus:

“I am directed to inform all Part-Time Staff Members, Corpers, and I.T Students in the Institution to resume duties with effect from Tuesday, 8th August 2023.”

“For the avoidance of doubt, the resumption time is 8:00am while closing time is 4:00pm daily.”

“Kindly comply with this directive in your own interest.”

The other memo reads:

“I am directed to inform all Chief Accountants and Chief Executive Officer (Accounts) in the Bursary Department to resume for duties with immediate effect. You are advised to comply with this directive in your own interest.”
