Ospoly matriculate students, Rector advocates cultism free campus

Dr Tajudeen Odetayo, the newly appointed Rector of Osun State Polytechnic, Iree, has issued a stern warning to all newly admitted students to abstain from cultism on campus. In his first matriculation ceremony for the 2022/23 academic session, Odetayo pleaded with the students to avoid any involvement in cultism and to become advocates for its eradication on campus.

During the event held at the institution’s ETF hall, the Rector emphasized the importance of seeking membership in viable and progressive organizations on campus. He also urged the students to respect all members of staff, whom they can approach for guidance and support.

Additionally, Odetayo advised the students to familiarize themselves with the grievance redress procedure and seek help from their Heads of Department, Deans, or the Students Affairs office if they encounter any issues.

The Rector assured the students that his door is always open to them if they need further assistance.

Overall, Odetayo’s message to the new students was clear: to prioritize their academic pursuits and to steer clear of any negative activities that could jeopardize their education and future prospects.
